Greater Lawrence Family Health Center’s new Chief Operating Officer is a Merrimack Valley native with more than 20 years of senior healthcare leadership experience. 

“I am thrilled and honored to join Greater Lawrence Family Health Center (GLFHC) and the exceptional team of caregivers,” said Jonathan Beauchesne, MPA/H, who began his tenure on Mon., Feb. 9. “Growing up in Lawrence/Methuen, I have a deep awareness and appreciation for the important role that GLFHC plays in the Merrimack Valley. I am very excited to get to know each and every member of the organization and collaborate to advance the mission of GLFHC in the communities we serve.” 

Most recently, Beauchesne served as Assistant Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer at UMass Memorial Health in Worcester. His previous experience includes leadership positions at Mass General Brigham – Wentworth Douglass Hospital in Dover, NH; York Hospital in York, ME; and Brigham & Women’s Hospital, Tufts Medical Center and Boston Medical Center, all in Boston. 

Beauchesne has a bachelor’s degree in economics from Boston College and a master’s degree in public administration/health administration from Suffolk University in Boston. 

He serves on the board of Lawrence Family Development, Inc., d/b/a Lawrence Prospera, a community-driven nonprofit organization committed to the mission of strengthening the individuals and families of Lawrence, Mass., through the development of thriving neighborhoods. Beauchesne is a member of the Medical Group Management Association, and the American College of Healthcare Executives.
