The recipient of the GLFHC 2025 President’s Award is Cassandra (Casey) Fisher, PharmD.
Casey joined Greater Lawrence Family Health Center as a Pharmacy Resident in 2019, and from day one, she stood out. Her passion for patient care and her commitment to learning were evident early on. When COVID hit and we faced unprecedented challenges, Casey did not hesitate — she jumped in at our 34 Haverhill St., Lawrence Pharmacy and later helped run vaccine clinics alongside the National Guard. That level of dedication has never wavered.
As our Central Prescription Manager, Casey leads a small but mighty team. She’s not only a problem solver — tackling complex medication access issues — but also an innovator. One of her most impactful ideas, the “Wall of Great Catches,” celebrates her team’s critical contributions to patient safety and sets a standard of excellence.
Casey’s impact is felt far beyond her own department. Repeatedly, she has been recognized for going above and beyond to support colleagues across multiple departments — offering guidance, sharing expertise, and stepping in wherever she’s needed. Her generosity with her time and knowledge has strengthened workflows, improved communication, and helped countless teams succeed.
Casey embodies every criterion of this award: mission-driven leadership, equity and inclusion, patient-centered service, and organizational impact. She champions culturally responsive care — even learning Spanish to better serve our patients — and advocates for staff development, from health literacy training to professional certifications. Her influence extends beyond GLFHC through her work with the Alpha Zeta Omega Pharmaceutical Fraternity and the Massachusetts Society of Addiction Medicine.
Casey is empathetic, collaborative, and relentlessly committed to our mission. She inspires her team, strengthens community relationships, and elevates patient care every single day.
For all these reasons, and so many more, we are proud to present the President’s Award to Casey.
