Guy Fish, MD, MBA

President and Chief Executive Officer

Guy Fish, MD, MBA, has extensive health care experience as a physician and a consultant in numerous executive leadership roles which encompass both the for-profit and nonprofit health care sectors. Before joining GLFHC in July 2021, Fish was acting CEO of Nextstage Therapeutics, a Spanish company with exosome technologies. Prior to that, he was CEO of Cellanyx Diagnostics, which uses artificial intelligence to predict which cancers are aggressive and which are not. Before Cellanyx, Fish was a leader with profit and loss responsibilities for 17 years at the health care strategy consulting firm Fletcher Spaght, Inc. His market assessments, due diligence in acquisitions, fundraising, and strategic growth planning for a wide range of medical services and products resulted in substantial value creation over the last ten years. In the nonprofit sector, Fish is Chairman of the Board of Trustees at health care think-tank Altarum Institute which is focused on improving the health of marginalized communities. As treasurer of the Harvard Alumni Association, he spearheaded initiatives to advance social justice and anti-racism. Fish is also a Lay Trustee of the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and has chaired both the Patient Care Committee and the Medical Education Committee.

Maria Coppenrath, CPA
Senior Vice President - Chief Financial Officer
Maria is a Certified Public Accountant with over 29 years of experience in federally qualified community health centers and not-for-profit accounting and finance. She has extensive experience with financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow projections, federal and state grants and contracts management, accountable care organizations, payroll, accounts payable, purchasing, third-party billing requirements including the full revenue cycle and 340b pharmacy programs. She also has expertise in internal controls and compliance with federal (including HRSA, CMS, and OMB circular A-133/uniform guidance) and state regulations (including DPH, Medicaid, and OSD). Prior to becoming the CFO of Greater Lawrence Family Health Center in March of 2020, she was the CFO of Edward M. Kennedy Community Health Center for almost ten years and prior to that was the Corporate Director of Finance for Harbor Health Services, Inc. (including Geiger Gibson Health Center, Neponset Health Center and Mid Upper Cape Health Center) for 6 years. She also worked in public accounting for a number of years, working with many of the FQHC’s in the Massachusetts and New England area performing audits and consulting engagements. She is a member of the Massachusetts Society of CPA’s (MSCPA), the American Institute of CPA’s (AICPA), serves as a member of the Subcommittee of Health Center Financing of the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC), is a member of the Massachusetts League of Community Health Centers (MLCHC) Finance Committee, is a member of the Commonwealth Group Purchasing Advisory Board.
Patrick Grotton
Senior Vice President - Chief Information Officer
Patrick joined GLFHC in 2004 as the organizations inaugural CIO. He was the CIO at Mercy Health System of Maine prior to joining GLFHC. He has worked closely with the GLFHC team to strategically direct them in the use of automation within the healthcare environment including completing the adoption of the MiSYS EMR and the eventual transition to the current Centricity EMR and Practice Management Systems. He has also provided the direction in the growth and development of the pharmacy program to expand GLFHC’s ability to deliver care to the Merrimack Valley. He received an Outstanding Executive Leader Award in 2012 for his work in the pharmacy program. He has a BS in Business Administration with honors with concentrations in Marketing and Management from the University of Maine and a MBA from Babson College. He holds a CPHIMS certification with HIMSS. Patrick also is a Senior Adjunct Professor at the University of Lowell where he has developed and instructs several Master’s courses in Health Informatics and Management. For his work with the University of Massachusetts Lowell, he received the Distinguished Service Award in 2013.
Zandra Kelley, MD
Senior Vice President - Chief Medical Officer
Zandra is a graduate of the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine and Lawrence Family Medicine Residency. She has worked at the Greater Lawrence Family Health Center for 16 years. She has most recently been the Medical Director at Greater Lawrence Family Health Center, the Vice President of Clinical Affairs for the Merrimack Valley ACO, the Chief of Family Medicine at Lawrence General Hospital, and a Faculty Member for the Lawrence Family Medicine Residency. Zandra practices full spectrum primary care Family Medicine at Greater Lawrence Family Health Center and continues inpatient work as well at Lawrence General Hospital while working as a faculty member and administrator. She was born in Oakpark, IL, and attended the University of Chicago for her bachelor’s degree, as well as her medical degree. Zandra loves teaching patients about optimal health (not just disease) as an important step in improving their quality of life. Outside of her work, her main focus is playing and learning with her boy/girl twins born in 2010 together with her husband, and she continues to enjoy learning about reaching and maintaining personal health and resiliency.
Saifur Rahman
Senior Vice President - Chief Operations Officer
Saifur joined Greater Lawrence Family Health Center in February 2005 to lead the Operations Department. In 2007 he was promoted to Chief Operating Officer. Saifur has over 21 years of experience in health care administration and management and he provides leadership on all operational procedures, processes and improvements. He has been instrumental in hiring a high functioning operations team to lead and manage all day to day activities to ensure optimal patient flow and satisfaction. Saifur's visionary and leadership skills have brought about major operational efficiencies and standardization throughout all GLFHC’s clinical facilities. Prior to joining GLFHC, he served as the Head of the Specialties Department – Surgery, Radiology, Orthopedics, Podiatry and Urology department at Dedham Medical Associates. His extensive experience also includes operations manager for Upham’s Corner Health Center and Systems Analyst, Medicaid program at Unisys Corporation. Saifur holds a BS with Honors and a MS degree in Geology with Math and Physics from Dhaka University.
