19th Annual Making a Difference Gala

Greater Lawrence Family Health Center hosted its 19th Annual Making a Difference Gala on May 1 at Andover Country Club. The organization presented Mallika Marshall, MD, the HealthWatch Anchor for CBS Boston/WBZ-TV with the Making a Difference Award. Marshall is an Emmy-award-winning journalist and physician. She serves on staff at Harvard Medical School and practices at Massachusetts General Hospital at the MGH Chelsea Urgent Care and formerly at the MGH Revere Health Center, where she has worked on the frontlines caring for patients with COVID-19. She is also Host and Senior Medical Editor for Harvard Health Publications (HHP), the publishing division of Harvard Medical School.
Josh Kraft, President of the New England Patriots Foundation, gave the Keynote Address. Kraft is a nonprofit and philanthropic leader who has spent his career working in disadvantaged communities in and around Boston. For three decades he worked with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston, including 12 years as its President and CEO.
