Pre-registration at GLFHC
GLFHC is dedicated to improving our patient experience and finding ways to better serve you. We are excited to introduce a new Pre-Registration Process, designed to expedite check-in at all our clinical sites and reduce the amount of time spent in waiting rooms. Pre-Registration is required and only takes a few minutes.
2 DAYS BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT you will receive a phone call from a GLFHC representative to confirm your appointment. Representatives will be able to assist you in your preferred language of English or Spanish.
PRE-REGISTRATION CALLS are required for all appointments, whether they are in-person visits or telehealth appointments. As a Community Health Center we are required to ask you for and collect certain information that is only shared with your care team. This includes details about your household and income. This information lets us know whether you qualify for assistance programs – and help you sign up for them.
DURING THE PRE-REGISTRATION CALL we will make sure our files are up to date by checking your contact preferences and insurance information, as well as your preferred pharmacy. The call will take no longer than 5 minutes. When you arrive for your visit – or receive a call for your telehealth appointment – you will simply check-in with a Patient Service Representative. The Pre-Registration Call is very important, so please be sure to answer your phone when we call.
