National Health Center Week 2022 (#NHCW2022 #ValueCHCs) is August 7-13 and Greater Lawrence Family Health Center (GLFHC) is celebrating our patients and the work we do throughout the Merrimack Valley in many ways:

• #WalkWithGLFHC: Beginning Thursday, August 11, clinicians and patients will walk every Thursday along a fun and safe route, to talk about health and make new friends. The walk is free and no sign-up is necessary. The group will start off from the green canopy at our Main Site, 34 Haverhill Street, Lawrence.
• We will be serving meals and providing hygiene products and snack bags for patients who are homeless and housing-unstable. Guests will also be able to receive HIV testing and PrEP education.
• Bilingual staff will be on hand at all sites to help patients with health insurance enrollment. We can also help you change insurance plans, select new doctors, and enroll in assistance programs.
• GLFHC will be taking part in the Greater Lawrence Community Action Council’s 9^th Annual Resource Fair on Wednesday, August 10 at Campagnone Park in Lawrence. You may learn about the many different health, wellness and safety programs offered by numerous local organizations.
• Voter registration cards will be available at all sites for patients who want to register to vote.

Únase a nosotros para celebrar la Semana Nacional de los Centros de Salud 2022

La Semana Nacional de los Centros de Salud 2022 se celebra del 7 al 13 de agosto y Greater Lawrence Family Health Center (GLFHC) la estará dedicando a los pacientes y al trabajo que hacemos en Merrimack Valley. La celebraremos de diferentes maneras:

• #VamosAcaminarGLFHC: a partir del jueves 11 de agosto, médicos y pacientes caminarán todos los jueves por una ruta divertida y segura, para hablar sobre temas de salud y hacer nuevos amigos. La caminata es gratuita y no es necesario inscribirse. El grupo comenzará desde el toldo verde en nuestro sitio principal, 34 Haverhill Street, Lawrence.
• Serviremos comidas y proporcionaremos productos de higiene y bolsas de refrigerios para pacientes sin hogar y con vivienda inestable. Los invitados también podrán recibir pruebas de VIH y educación sobre PrEP.
• Tendremos personal bilingüe disponible en todos los locales para ayudar a los pacientes a inscribirse en seguro médico, a cambiar planes de seguro, a seleccionar nuevos médicos e inscribirse en programas de asistencia.
• GLFHC participará en la 9ª Feria Anual de Recursos del Greater Lawrence Community Action Council el miércoles 10 de agosto en el Campagnone Park (parque de las ardillas) en Lawrence. En la feria podrá obtener información sobre los diferentes programas de salud, bienestar y seguridad que ofrecen numerosas organizaciones locales, y también habrá una clínica gratuita de vacunas contra el COVID y dosis de refuerzo.
• Las tarjetas de registro de votante estarán disponibles en todos los locales para aquellos pacientes que deseen registrarse para votar.
