Greater Lawrence Family Health Center Welcomes Four New Board Members

Greater Lawrence Family Health Center has welcomed four new members to its board of directors.
Joanna de Peña, of Lawrence, Mass., is the founder and executive director of Top Notch Scholars. She received her master’s degree in education from Merrimack College, and has received recognition at the YWCA Tribute to Women and as a member of the El Mundo Boston Latino 30 under 30.

Timothy DiBona
Timothy DiBona, of North Easton, Mass., is the CEO of Doctors’ Management Service. He has over 25 years of experience in health care management. DiBona also serves as secretary of the Medical Group Management Association board of directors and as president of Salus Resource Group.

Charles Manzi
Charles Manzi, of Haverhill, Mass., is the Marketing Executive at Comfort Home Care. He has worked in the health care industry for more than 25 years. In addition to his newfound position on the GLFHC board, he serves as a member of over 10 community organizations in the Merrimack Valley, including the NECC Foundation, the Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce and the Exchange Club of Lawrence.

Christopher Vrountas
Christopher Vrountas, of Andover, Mass., is president of Vrountas, Ayer & Chandler, P.C. He brings over 15 years of experience to the GLFHC board. Martindale-Hubbell rates Vrountas as “AV Preeminent,” the highest peer review rating for legal professionalism and ethics.
The mission of Greater Lawrence Family Health Center is to improve and maintain the health of individuals and families in the Merrimack Valley by providing a network of high quality, comprehensive health care services and by training health care professionals to respond to the needs of a culturally diverse population. Nearly 60,000 patients depend on GLFHC for their primary health care needs at locations in Lawrence and Methuen.
