GLFHC Names VPs of Clinical Affairs

Greater Lawrence Family Health Center has promoted Paul Esielionis, MD and Nick Weida, MD to the positions of Vice President of Clinical Affairs.
GLFHC Chief Medical Officer Zandra Kelley, MD said that the health center network has grown significantly since its inception in 1980 and Drs. Esielionis and Weida will help manage its 10 different locations across Lawrence, Haverhill and Methuen in their new roles.
“It will be incredibly helpful to have their expertise in managing clinical sites as well as their complementary perspectives as we grow and expand our services,” Dr. Kelley said. “I am very excited to recognize their ongoing work and feel blessed to have support in the complexities of providing and improving patient care at GLFHC.”
Dr. Esielionis has been with GLFHC for more than 25 years and has served as a medical site director. He is a mentor to the organization’s resident doctors and said he is looking forward to working more closely with the site leadership teams at the health center’s South (Lawrence), North (Lawrence), Methuen, and Haverhill locations. He will remain the medical site director at the West (Lawrence) location, as well.
Dr. Weida has been with the health center for more than six years. Kelley said he has served in a key leadership role during the ongoing COVID pandemic, especially at GLFHC’s flagship Haverhill Street (Lawrence) location with the residency program and volume of acute care provided. He will be working with the leadership teams at Haverhill Street, Lawrence General Hospital, the School-Based Health Centers and Mobile Health Unit/Shelters.
