AVP of Marketing & Development Named to NEAHP Board

Beth Short, the health center’s associate vice president of marketing and development, was named to the New England Association for Healthcare Philanthropy (NEAHP) Board of Directors. In her new role, Short will work with Kelli Rafferty, director of development for Elliot Health System, to plan the organization’s series of SmartLunch Webinars. These webinars will leverage the years of expertise of Short, Rafferty and many other NEAHP members in health care fundraising, donor relations, event planning and more.
Short’s relationship with the health center began in 2007, when she joined the development department as a grant writer. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English and women’s studies from the University of Massachusetts Boston, a master’s degree in regional economics and social/development/public policy from the University of Massachusetts Lowell and a graduate certificate in marketing strategy from Cornell University.
