For 18 years, Greater Lawrence Family Health Center has been celebrating spring with our Annual Making a Difference Gala. This year’s event is Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at 5:30 pm at Andover Country Club.

The 2023 recipient of the Making a Difference Award is Arbella Insurance. The Foundation has been a steadfast supporter of GLFHC, especially during the COVID pandemic. They reached out to ask how they could help when we were in most need. GLFHC is pleased to honor them with this award.

The event features all the fan favorites – a signature cocktail, silent auction items, and Mystery Boxes.

All proceeds from the Gala benefit our Access to Care programs. While we offer affordable, quality health care for more than 68,000 patients, our work almost entirely focuses on chronic care (hypertension, diabetes, asthma, etc.) in our 10 locations and 14 shelters/homeless sites. Our patients have told us they have a great need for “walk-in” or “acute” services (e.g., woke up with a headache, or a sudden pain in my leg, etc.) that need to be seen right away – not in three months, or waiting for four hours. To address these needs, we are partnering with Lawrence Community Works in an innovative and exciting project – converting space in an old factory building in Lawrence for another clinic and pharmacy to provide acute medical services and supportive social services. We hope we can count on your support as we grow to serve the needs of our community.

MYSTERY BOXES

Always a crowd pleaser, Mystery Boxes are $20 each. Each one features a piece of women’s jewelry, with a value of $20 or more. A limited number will be sold at the Gala.
