As we know, good nutrition alone isn’t enough to maintain a healthy body. Physical activity is just as important a factor to staying healthy! Here are three simple exercises you can be doing to improve your health.
- Go for a walk or run. It doesn’t have to be a long “x amount of miles” walk or run! Something as simple as walking around the block a few times a week can make a difference on the body. Walking or running can help maintain body weight, keeps blood pressure down and keeps your heart healthy.
- Leg squats are a great lower body workout that can help strengthen and tone your legs and glutes. Not only does it help with strengthening, but it also helps with knee stability too!
- A great, but simple upper body workout: doing push ups. These can help strengthen your chest, arms and shoulders, and tone your arms.
As you can see, a little bit of exercise can go a long way!
