Warren A. Bodine, DO CAQSM

Team Leader at Greater Lawrence Family Health Center
Dr. Warren Bodine is a Board Certified Osteopathic Family Medicine and Sports Medicine Physician who specializes in medical management of sports injuries. His interests are the care of the athlete, sport related concussion, exercise promotion for the prevention of chronic adult diseases (cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and obesity), and Osteopathic Manipulative Therapy. He currently serves as team physician for Merrimack College Athletics, Lawrence High School and the Greater Lawrence Technical School.
Originally from Long Island, NY, Dr. Bodine completed his medical school training and residency in Family Medicine at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey-School of Osteopathic Medicine in Stratford, NJ. During his tenure, he was inducted into the Arnold P. Gold Humanism in Medicine National Honor Society, and received the Best Teaching Intern Award from the UMDNJ-SOM Osteopathic Postdoctoral Training Institution. Dr. Bodine went on to complete his fellowship in Primary Care Sports Medicine at Christiana Care Health System in Delaware, where he served as team physician for two NCAA Division I Universities (Delaware State University and University of Delaware), local high schools, and provided coverage for multiple mass participation events including the Beast of the East Wrestling Tournament, Keystone State Games and Delaware Marathon. He also worked with the Christiana Care Virtual Education Simulation Technology Lab, creating a curriculum in simulation technology and publishing “Sideline Management of Anaphylaxis in an Athlete”.
Dr. Bodine is actively involved in the education of medical students and residents. He has served as team physician for the Boston Blazers (Men’s Indoor Lacrosse), Boston Cannons (Men’s Outdoor Lacrosse), Boston Breakers (Women’s Professional Soccer), Lesley University, Bunker Hill Community College, Revere High School, and Malden High School. He also serves on several committees at the state level including the Sports Medicine Committee of the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association and Committee on Student Health and Sports Medicine for the Massachusetts Medical Society. His interests include running, biking, spending time with friends and family and rooting for the New York Mets and New York Giants.
